Books That I am Reading Right Now

My mother gave me this book for Christmas. It's the story of a boy who is mute. He is the third generation of Sawtelle's that breed and train dogs in the rural midwest. It's very well written and an interesting read, but not a "page turner". It suits very well for reading in the call room before trying for a few Z's.

Reading and interpreting the medical literature can be one of the biggest challenges to practicing medicine these days. I have found this book to be very helpful in breaking the subject down with the use of lots of easy to follow examples.

I just don't have the time to devote to exercise and fitness that I once did. This is a great book that explains the multitudes of benefits to "interval training". When done properly, it can be quite grueling, but it takes much less time and the results are real!

A great series of books tackling current controversies in the field of neonatology.
