So I managed to log about 10 hours of rack time last night here at the house. And that's with a 3 week old here! My wife is such an amazing first-time mom! getting up to feed her and letting me sleep without even a hint of contempt for my continued sleep. Being at home with my little angel fills me with gratitude for having such a beautiful and healthy baby while I spend most of my time tending to critically ill babies in the NICU. It puts things in perspective and reinforces my desire to help my patient's parents as they struggle with the ups and downs of following their babies progress and setbacks.
Life is good... we should endeavor to live it well!
